Integrated rigid thermal insulation

DBM Technologie designs and produces high performance rigid thermal heat shielding, integrated onto your part, for protection up to 1200°C. 

Insulation can be assembled in two solutions :

•  Integrated : Insulation assembled by DBM on the part to be assembled 

  • Adapted solutions for  :
    • Prototypes
    • Pre-serial production
    • Production

•  Semi-integrated : Insulation delivered separately, customers integrate the welding assembly themselves

  • Adapted solutions for  :
    • Pre-serial production
    • Production

High-temperature thermal protection for exhausts, manifolds and turbochargers

DBM Technologie integrated rigid heat shields are designed to reduce thermal radiation around components exposed to high temperatures. They can be integrated into exhaust systems, manifolds, turbochargers, catalytic converters, silencers and pipework where effective thermal protection must fit within a restricted installation space. Each solution is engineered to suit the component geometry and its thermal and mechanical constraints, allowing the insulation to be integrated directly with the part requiring protection.

Thermal protection is engineered around the shape of the component, its surrounding environment and installation constraints. This custom approach helps protect complex components while controlling the space required around exhaust systems and equipment exposed to high temperatures.
